Ryo wakes up from her slumber and looks around the room seeing the captain commander... and her chest... wrapped up tightly in gauze. She bows to the captain commander who seemed to have noticed her.
Ryo: Sotaichou, what happened? Did Radriar-san and Sonya-san get here fine? Did I make back just fine too? Ow my head hurts...
Ryo tried sitting up but there was a sharp pain on her side. Ryo felt pitiful that her first duty as a shinigami was a bust.

Radriar: I can explain, head captain. She and I were saved by Sonya, but Ryo went back to hold off the Quincies, and Sonya and I had to return to back her up. I'm telling you, head captain, I have a feeling those injuries weren't Quincy... They looked self inflicted.
