-Skylar looks at the random boy who just entered the lab, but walks past him without even caring-

Skylar: Alright, I'll just hang around Pallet Town for now... Cya.

Blake: Hmph.

*he acts like it didn't bother him and he grabs his pokeballs and pokedex, Totodile stays outside of the pokeball and follows him out of the lab*

Blake: Ahh I better get my shoes, my running shoes to be exact!

*WALKS back to his house*

-Walks in the outskirts of Pallet Town with Treecko on his shoulder-

Skylar: Alright Treecko, let's see what moves you can do...

-It looks at the boy with confused eyes-

Skylar: Just do anything...

Teal: *attempts to run home,but his boots are as heavy as boulders and he can only walk,so he takes his time getting home,then he kicks off his boots,puts on his running shoes,gets on his bike and rides to snowpoint city*

-Sees the same boy he saw in the lab, riding his bike out of the town, and starts yelling-

Skylar: Hey there! The path is blocked for some reason! You can't leave Pallet Town for now!

Kane: stares at turtwig- well I am going to go home and put on running shoes- walks off- you coming-

Turtwig: turtwig... Turtwig!?!- chases after him-

-Sees the same boy he saw in the lab, riding his bike out of the town, and starts yelling-

Skylar: Hey there! The path is blocked for some reason! You can't leave Pallet Town for now!

*Blake now equip with his speedy running shoes chases after Teal*

Blake: Hey wait! I'll take your request and battle you, right Totodile?

*Blake folds his arms and Totodile promptly copies him, it seems to have taken a liking to him*

-Witness the boy hits a hill of snow on his way out of town, which is the blockade-

Skylar: Baka...

-Looks at the confused Treecko again-

Skylar: Alright Treecko, I got this pokedex from Pr. Oak earlier today..

-Points it, without hesitation, at the small Treecko-

Pokedex: Treecko, the reptile pokemon. Its basic moves are Pound, Pursuit, Absorb and Quick attack.

*Tries to hold in laughter, as does Totodile, regains composure and tries to sound as stoic as possible*

*Totodile steps forward flapping its arms ready to fight*

*Tries to hold in laughter, as does Totodile, regains composure and tries to sound as stoic as possible*

Blake: Fine lets do this, show them what you've got Totodile!

*Totodile steps forward flapping its arms ready to fight*

Teal: Chimchar,scratch his face off.
Chimchar rushes at tododile in an attempt to use Scratch,aiming for his face.

*Totodile dives out of the way but takes a hit on his tail*

Blake: Drown him with water gun!

*Totodile gets up quickly and blast a small jet of water at chimchar*

Blake: Aim for his tail!

-Skylar waits for Kane's answer as they both watch the little show in front of them-

Skylar: No wonder he didn't answer me... he fell asleep while watching the fight..

-Walks away again with Treecko on the shoulder-

Skylar: Alright Treecko, let's find a place to test out your strength.

Chimchar does a roll to dodge,then he shoots an ember from his mouth at tododile.

*Totodile keeps spraying with water gun, cooling down all the flames*

Blake: Wow that was good, I didn't even have to say anything!

*there's a huge glisten in his eyes but it vanishes as he realises people are watching*

Blake: ok finish this with another water gun!

*Looks on completely surprised, even Totodile is in shock, there's an awkward silence for a moment and then Blake regains his composure*
