No offense man but that is a pretty garbage reason, Sarutobi looked pretty young when Tobirama appointed him as Hokage. Besides Minato wouldn't have even been Hokage if Orochimaru wasn't so suspect. And The Ramen Guy thing is just for jokes.

Sasuke has had some points where he worked hard, like his training to gain speed and learn Chidori during the Chuunin exams. And when he trained to master the Grand Fire Ball Jutsu to impress his father. And I'm pretty sure he trained really hard during his 2 years with Orochimaru, can't say much about him after that..Honestly I justed added him to the poll because he's a main character

I wouldn't exactly call Minato a nobody, he worked hard I just wouldn't put him in the same class as Naruto, Orochimaru, Rock Lee, Guy, etc.

Naruto may be the titular character, but Lee's character is basically all about hard-work. Pretty much doing whatever it takes to prove that hardwork can surpass a genius and that anyone can become a powerful ninja with only taijutsu.

Naruto's character is similar, having to prove himself as a underdog that he can match and surpass anyone, especially his rival Sasuke, in becoming one of the greatest ninjas in the world and eventually become Hokage. They both are hardworking individuals trying to make a name for themselves, but Naruto is not handicapped both emotionally and physically the way Lee is. Lee literally had nothing to start with (unlike Naruto who had a working chakra network and even the Kyuubi) and had to struggle even moreso than Naruto in order to get to where he is at now with Taijutsu alone.

Completely agree, and do you remember how he managed to get up and take a fighting stance while unconscious vs Gaara. That part really got to me and it still does even ti'll this very day, that was insane.

Yeah I don't why either, I understand people like the character but he really hasn't ever gotten screentime..where does the hardwork come in?
