[Debate] My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic. Between LOVE and HATE

My Little Pony. Oh yes. An old classic show from 80s rises again and again through years in many different versions until today "My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic".

Before anyone starts flaming, let me tell you something about myself. I used to dislike Ponies show, and I'm still. But when this "Friendship Is Magic" show came, I guess I blame someone for getting me hooked to it. She's at age of 20s, yet she's a cool person.

However, if you asked me what my childhood to now all about, I give you this in list.

- NES
- SEGA Genesis (Streets Of Rage, Shinobi 3, Earthworm Jim, Mortal Kombat)
- PlayStation (Metal Gear Solid, Resident Evil)
- Loony Toons
- Ninja Turtles (1987)
- Mr. Bogus
- Bionic Six
- Courage the Cowardly Dog
- Sanshiro
- Dragon Ball
- ONE PIECE (Trafalgar motha fukin LAW)
- Seinfeld
- X-Files
- WWE (turned later to be deadly boring not like before... like old days at late of 90s)

But if you put among this list of badassery a show of little girls, then something somewhere in the universe is wrong. Ponies. Now I'm a man over 30 years old to watch such thing that is basically meant and was aiming at certain age for GIRLS ONLY, right? Maybe, but there are like many men like me watching this show.

Search at YouTube and you'll find men making reviews after watching episode after another. I understand the hate towards "Friendship Is Magic" TV-show, and I lol at haters and how they flame. Why? Because I'm bored.

I put MLP: Friendship Is Magic as if it's ONE PIECE (Oh yes), being hated by ONE PIECE fans who resemble Naruto/Bleach fans, and how they judge Ponies for being girls show just like ONE PIECE being judged for "ArtStyle", "Stretching arms is stupid" and so on.

You know what are the common things between ONE PIECE and My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic?

Luffy | Pinkie Pie: Love food and party
Zoro | Rainbow Dash: Competitive
Nami | Rarity: Love jewels
Sanji | Apple Jack: Use legs
Chopper | Fluttershy: Talk to animals
Robin | Twilight Sparkle: Read books

- However, there types of people:
01. A person who watches animes and Ponies.
02. A person who watches one anime and Ponies.
03. A person who watches animes and hates Ponies.
04. A person who watches one anime and hates Ponies.

In the end, what I'm trying to approach here is to understand that so much hate on such show, and to know the number of fans and haters of this show.

Like in the naruto>one piece thread, its a matter of opinion. those who watch it obviously have their reasons for enjoying it. i remember thinking the same thing about the powerpuff girls as a child, that is until i watched bubbles brutally destroy an army of monsters, shoving a giant spike through the damn things mouth. never again.
