OK Tobirama created one of the most powerful justu that has ever been used. Because of the malevolent use of it though people consider him evil. But im here to clear something up.


The Uchiha When an Uchiha loses someone they love they lose their minds and go rouge with their power. Prime example is Madara Uchiha, Obito, Sasuke.

They all lost somebody important to them and gained their MS . The loss of a loved one leads to them becoming corrupted with power and hatred. But what happens if the person would live again?


Tobirama His stern personality makes people think that he hated the Uchiha but in reality he wanted to help them. He confessed to not hating them but not wanting another Madara. So he developed a justu to revive the lost ones of the Uchiha.


EDO TENSEI The reincarnation jutsu that can bring anyone back to life as long as you have a sacrifice. Tobirama created this jutsu not as a weapon but as a peace offering to the Uchiha to help them cope with lost ones. It could revive them and the Uchiha wouldn't be overwhelmed with grief. Then their love would stay surpreme while their hatred would go away.


Sadly he failed because of his death.

It's an interesting idea and a good theory. I could see Kishi pulling a card like this as the whole image of the Manga seems to be trying to get everyone to be happy together with unicorns and rainbows. Personally I think it was just a Jutsu created to be able to enter battles with as little casualties possible.

But the thing about that is that jutsu will cause a lot of casualties. You need a sacrifice to use it so that's gonna cause one right there.

Yeah i know its a bit overwhelming theory given the reason of Uchiha's hatred and all, but its just a jutsu that was created as a tool. It would be a bias assumption as to proclaim Tobirama created it for some "fantasy" or temporary redemption for the uchiha. Not only this will resorted uchiha to feel more aggravated by the death, and if happened that the revived one talks about senju's fault, it would rather become a pure hatred amongst them.

I think your theory is close to what will be discovered in future issues. I think it could have a slightly differnt spin to it. Tobirama designed a jutsu (edo tensei) to cure an otherwise wild/dark/corrupted uchiha and it backfired.
