So with the latest Manga (and I apologize if someone already made this thread), does Tobirama's fear, and isolation of the Uchiha, something we can akin to Frieza's fear and isolation (and eventual eradication) of the Saiyan?

I'm not trying to say that Tobirama was a tyrant in the same case as Frieza, but it seems like they had the same fears of another Madara (Tobirama), and another Super Saiyan (Frieza), thus justifying their extermination of an entire race. Yes, Tobirama didn't do the extermination, but he definitely set the precursor for it...

Thoughts?

He should have eradicated them himself, then none of this would have happened.

What Tobirama seemed to fear was someone with Madara's mindset returning. If it happened, obviously the Uchiha would rebel, and Konoha would be destroyed...because they would be severely weakened after dealing with the Uchiha.

Based on what he said, when the Uchiha lose loved ones/ expirience emotional trauma they become unstable with hatred and anger.

In order to try and curcumnavigate this issue, Tobirama placed them in charge of the Police Force as a means to give them a way to exercise this new power (against prisoners or attempted escapees). This also gave the Uchiha an important and vital role in the village. Both were attempts to ensure that a Madara mentality never returned.

Unfortunately there were people who still secretly followed Madara, and when they were relocated to the outskirts (because the military police would be placed by the prison...while it may have been a yay for Tobirama it also made logical sense to relocate close to your bas of operations) the Madara sympathizers took it as them being isolate/mistreated...

I know, right?! lol

This is true, and I get your point. He merely was cautious of the Uchiha for the village, and I guess Frieza was more worried about his own tyrannical reign. But still, I see some similarities in the storyline, unless i'm wrong about that...

Well he was cautious of them but he left them alone and he would only act if they made the first move. Frieza went ahead and wiped out the entire planet just cuz he was afraid.

I think the Uzumaki clan and their village being wiped out because people feared their Fuinjutsu is more of a parallel to the Saiyans being wiped out.

frieza=destroys entire planet, out of fear for himself

Tobirama=oppressed a clan, and made good use of there anguish and despair, for the safety of konoha.

Don't even try it...frieza's actions were a CRIME, and was done for selfish purposes only.

On a way bigger scale...

EXCELLENTLY explained. But didn't Frieza also sorta put the Saiyan's in his OWN police force, so to speak? I mean, while many races made up his attack "slaves", Frieza utilized the Saiyan's hunger for battle as his person little pets, and then killed them off once they became a threat. Again, just because Tobirama didn't pull the trigger, he sure as hell loaded the gun...

Yes, lol, this!!

Sorry, I really wasn't trying to make the comparison based on that, but funny nonetheless!

You're absolutely right. And I get that. I wasn't trying to make a criminal out of Tobirama, but more so on the end of the "fear" of something that "MIGHT" happen...

I've never been a DBZ expert, but I'd say you were right in that regard. The Saiyans did work as minions or special detatchments if I remember right. I remember that movie or whatever with Goku's dad the Saiyans seemed to act as personal mercenaries.

Also you woud be correct about Tobirama...now while he entirely wasn't trying to pull the trigger or even load the gun, the Uchiha mindset because of his actions loaded the gun anyways!

Please don't ever compare the Uchiha to Saiyans again.

Yes, I am referring a lot of what your knowledge was from DBZ into this thread, and you are accurate about the movie.

But I don't agree with the Uchiha helping loading the gun

funny how some believe that by supporting either character, they are meant to become just as strong as that character.

I do agree there is a resemblance with Freeza. Even Tobirama´s rushing mood is quite alike freezas

Yes, there was a time Frieza respected the Saiyan race, and even gave them a chance to excel...just like Tobirama would have the Uchicha, but when their power became apparent...well
