i would like to see something about the uzumaki back story.

i'm kinda wondering who did it. was it like itachi's kill the uchiha?

it really wouldn't, unless Sasuke suddenly decides to wonder just who the hell Naruto really is and ask who the Uzumakis are and what happened to them; but i doubt that. However i do hope we find out what happened to them, maybe Hashi might bring them up since they were close since they were distant blood relatives but i dunno.

Kishi shows uchiha favoritism i doubt we'll ever see the back story to the Uzimaki, or any examples of powerful ninja from the clan and what there capable of using thier jutsus that create fear of them.

They were destroyed in during one of the wars. People were scared of their sealing jutsus.

Well, the Uzumaki weren't really massacred like the Uchihas. It was mentioned a couple of times that their country, which is, Uzushiogakure was destroyed during the previous shinobi wars and that the survivors fled to other countries. So technically, there are still Uzumakis all over the ninja world.

I think Uzushiogakure was attacked by many other countries during the war (First, Second, and Third- possibly). It's not impossible since they were also allied with Konoha back then, so they'd naturally be targets for enemy countries. Not to mention that ninja world back then was pretty much unstable.

im starting to think the Nine Tails distroyed the Uzumaki village durring the attack on The Leaf and he did it to stop any further sealing that only the Uzumaki exceled in

Kushina said their village was targeted and destroyed. So they didn't just die out, they were meant to be completely annihilated during one of the wars. Some got away tho and changed their name

No they were so greatly feared for their sealing techniques that they were wiped out and the refugees scattered across the ninja world.
I doubt it was anything like the Uchiha massacre but the Yuki and Kaguya clans were also wiped out for their powerful jutsu and KG, so the same happened to the Uzumaki clan as well.

There's probably a legacy to their clan but now at least we know that they died out after continuous warfare.
