Tobirama says "When Uchiha suffer......Special chakra sprouts inside their brain that effect their optic nerve and produces a change in their eyes."

Uchiha..Kakashi is not an Uchiha and since now in the manga we believed that somehow Kakashi merely having a sharingan, followed the same "you have to kill your best friend" rule we use to believe, which we now know is "to suffer".

In Short, you need an Uchiha brain, to affect the Uchiha eye..Another lovely plothole

1. Itachi said in Part 1 that Kakashi was compatible.

2. It wasn't said that the chakra spouts in the brain was possible because it was only in Uchiha. By special, it can mean it was special compared to the other spouts in the body.

3. Kakashi could have gotten MS solely because it is linked to Obito and it changed along with his.

Kakashi's sharingan originally belongs to Obito, and they are linked.

Kakashi killed Rin. Obito saw Kakashi kill Rin. Kakashi got his sharingan via Obito and when Obito saw Kakashi kill Rin, his eyes got MS and since Kakashi & Obito were near each other, they both got MS. That's how I think it happened.

When Obito was rushing to the scene of Kakashi and Rin's battle, he saw Rin dying through Kakashi's Sharingan eye and at that moment both eyes went MS because they were connected to Obito in that moment.

Activating MS requires a traumatic event. The brain chakra thing only applies to activating a regular Sharingan.

Its because the sharingan was originally activated by Obito. Since Kakashi got it as a gift, the original 'brain chemistry' required to activate it was already established. Since that prerequisite was met, it was able to further evolve in time as a result, no matter who it was in.

So its not a matter of Kakashi having the brain chemistry of an Uchiha, nor is it a plot hole, its a reality that was made possible since it was originally activated in someone else, allowing a non-uchiha to awaken it further.

you would think that kishi could leave basic logic up to his readers to connect the dots by using their brain A LITTLE bit. but i guess it's too hard for them. most of them anyway.
