Question about Obitos other other eye

I've had this question for a while about obito's rinnegan, he got it from nagato who in turn got it from madara which was originally a sharingan to ms to ems then finally rinnegan right?

I get that nagato couldn't turn off the rinnegan to ems, ms, sharingan or normal eye the same way a non uchiha can't turn off a transplanted sharingan or non hyugans can't turn off a transplanted byakugan.

My question is (finally): how come obito can't/doesn't turn his left eye back to ems, ms, s or just a normal eye, he is an uchiha so what's stopping his from reverting it back?

i dont believe so because it was transplated to nagato first , plus its not his brothers eye

He doesn't need to. Why turn off an eye that can see things before they happen when you have the capacity to keep it on forever?

Just because it's transplanted and he's an Uchiha doesn't mean he can revert an eye that isn't his.

when it was transplanted, it was rinnegan and when madara gave nagato it was also rinnegan

Madara who has rinnegan used MS techniques while remaining on rinnegan so I think that when you have rinnegan you can't go back to the other form but you can use their powers.Obito can't turn off or switch on other level his rinnegan.

It is not his eye.Until it is pointed out in the manga specifically that being a uchiha regardless if it is your eye or not can revert the eye to a prior stage then we can only go off the information provided so far.And the info provided so far tells us anyone who had the eye transplanted cannot turn it off nor revert to other forms of the eye they themselves did not experience to awaken.

Madara went from normal to ms/ems to rinnegan
can't assume he can't revert back from this, logic dictates he should be able to (all those who active a dojutsu can revert back so assuming rinnegan for madara is permanent doesn't make sense)

Yeah but nagato is/was not an uchiha and as tobirama just stated uchihas create special brain jizz that operates the sharingan
