You can't disagree that this topic wasn't, at the very least, indirectly inspired by the prominent appearance of all four ex-hokages in the latest chapter. Anyway, thats besides the original point.

and yea it did recall the situations when i seen them.. but as you know out of sight out of mind.. how much interaction have we seen between orochimaru and the 4th... seing his reaction to Orochimaru made me remember Orochimaru was suppose to be the 4th before him

No doubt orochimaru was strong and Third was going to consider him for the position of Fourth but Orochimaru deeds of using people for forbidden experiments and killing were also one of the reason he was not chosen.
BUt Minato on the other hand was prodigy a genius who achieved many great deeds in short span of time.....
He developed many excellent jutsu and seals which his teacher Jiraya couldn't grasp is more than enough to tell his tale....
And you are also looking one thing down Orochimaru went one on one with Sarutobi but Sarutobi couldn't kill him so he fleed from the village and went into hiding.
If Orochimaru was confident he would have attacked the village when fourth was the hokage but he didn't because he knew if minato and him fight it will be life threatening for both.......

Orochimaru was a genius too i think he was smarter then the 4th.. the 4th hokages speed and teleportation jutsu is the reason he was considered a genius
and i think Orochimaru lost the fight with the hokage cuz he was overconfident.. he killed gaaras father (kazekage) and all his anbu guards then sealed himself in with the 3rd to get a 1 on 1..

Minato had the guts to use the Shiki Fuujin to seal away for the welfare of the village as well for his son and didn't care for himself.
On the other hand, Orochimaru was crying for losing his arms and spent his life on researching how to deal with the seal. He couldn't have gotten the chance if Sasuke wouldn't have revived him for his silly questions.
One more point. If you think Orochimaru is so big genius then why the hell he still could not found an alternate jutsu for the Flying Thunder God technique? Even the guards of Minato learned how to perform it. The one known as the Legendary Sannin was not able to get his hands on the Yellow Flash. Also on Jiraiya. He fought with Jiraiya so many times and still not able to get a little portion of dna from him.
Now don't tell me that you knew what the manga shows. This all stuff is also shown in the manga and you call him a genius. Take a break.

Lol read the thread and stop bein a fanboy... Check the facts.. In the post right b4 u there's a picture of the 3rd callin him a genius.. That's one thing thats is understood by even the newbiest of the newbs ... And orochimaru has way more jutsu than the 4thregular and forbidden.. We understand fans only see way they want but open ur eyes orochimaru has survived this long for a reason.. Don't forget how old he is

Orochimaru hasn't been able to use jutsu since he fought the 3rd... Jiriya already said Naruto almost killed him in 4 tails mode.. Name one shinobi who can survive a fight with the 4 tails while he was sick n couldn't use jutsu
And I never said orochimaru a stronger all I said was he was suppose to be the 4th even the title is a question

Minato is a respectable person. It's the same way you'd call a teacher Mr or Ms. Just because Oro knows something that Minato doesn't, doesn't make him stronger. Minato died at like around 25 and its been 15 years since his death. Oro has been in commission for 53 years he's bound to know more things than Minato. Hell Naruto completed the rasengan so he knows how to add his element into the jutsu Minato doesn't know. Is Naruto smarter than Minato. Hell no.
Minato has way more skills than Oro. He's PROBABLY the second most powerful hokage seeing as no one has ever defeated him. The reason why Sarutobi considered choosing Oro as his successor was because Oro was his favorite student and he had years over Minato seeing as Oro is still Minato's senior.

we havent seen the 4th fight anyone but a young tobi. Im not saying hes not the man. im saying orchimaru was suppose to be the 4th b4 the 4th was born i think you all jus underestimate Orochimarus actual skill because yall been watching him fight with no jutsu.. Orochimaru was hokage level b4 minato was born
