i understand that much but i doubt they want to be controlled. especially hashirama and tobirama since they have been controlled by oro before

They were summoned just so Sasuke can talk to them. Why would they start immediately killing everyone around them if they were revived? That would make no sense. There's a good chance Orochimaru will just release the jutsu when Sasuke has heard all he needs from them, we'll see though.

Orochimaru isn't surpressing their personalities or controlling their movements right now. He can control their movements if he wants to though. Remember Kabuto was controlling edo's who still had their personalities in tact.

Orochimaru stated he was allowing them to keep their personalities and had no plans of controlling their bodies so they could attack the village again. If they tried anything, I'm sure Orochimaru would take full control and they know it.

but since Tobirama created it, wouldn't he know how to break out of it

I've been wondering that myself. Is Tobirama biding time or does he even know how to break free of it? He didn't try when he was summoned the first time in part 1.

well in part 1 he never had the freedom to move
and he created a less advanced version of the jutsu right? so since oro and kabuto made it more advanced, maybe tobirama doesn't know how to break it

If he could break free, he'd have to be tricky about it since Orochimaru is right in the room. That would be a neat twist!

Well we saw both Tobirama and Minato putting their finger on the floor to detect enemies so im assuming they'll be the first to realise.

so he couldnt stop Madara from doing anything...
if the other EDOs knew the hand signs they
could have broken free too while kabuto was sleep
