Sasuke can talk to so6p and even then he won't be any match for the Will of Fire. In this case i feel like Sasuke wants to know weather the village is worth saving. Meaning that he's trying to figure out if he wants to destroy it or if there is still a reason not to attack it. In previous chapters you can actually see whats coming if you pay attention to what orochimaru has been saying.
