I love Naruto don't get me wrong, but I don't like how it's always about "love". Why can't someone legitimately be a bad person. Why does Kishi always have to justify why villains are evil in a really cliche way. I'm just praying that he doesn't end up doing the same to Orochimaru, I can already see it though "he was an orphan no one liked him, he was never loved etc."

Oro doesn't give a sh*t about love.
Isn't that enough??

it gives the story more depth. I like it. if you dont, you need to find love. then loose it.. then see how you feel.

I don't think Oro is driven by any sort of hate or love. He's driven by a desire to know.

If you make the villain seem like a good guy in some way, the villain is more liked my the reader. Kishimoto knows his job well.

Also he found a nice way to make the forgiveness of his favourite character tolerated :p

Not necessarily. I don't like it when bad guys act emo. It did work on some like Zabuza, and Nagato a little bit. But does every villain need to be the confused victim?

Lol what is up with all this emo talking? This is not emo. Not at all.

Also I see no confused victim either.

When Gaara lost they showed how he was hated by everyone and how much of a ****ty life he had. When Nagato lost they showed how he was a poor child and made him the victim basically. When Danzo died they showed how much he cared for Konoha and how he only wanted to help. When Kabuto lost they showed how he doesn't have friends and how bad his life was when he was a kid. Same with Sasori, Obito, Zabuza and basically every villain yet. Except Orochimaru.

Edit: and Itachi lol.

Love has always played the biggest role in Naruto. It's one of the main things Kishimoto tried to express to his readers, along with friendship and bonds, but you can't have those without love, and I for one don't believe anyone is born evil. We all end up affected by our hearts either in a good way or bad.
