Hello everyone.

Well, now it's more or less indisputable that Tobirama created the Edo Tensei. I have never thought it made much sense, but then, being the awesome individual that I am, I started thinking:

What if he felt so overshadowed by his brother who was praised by everyone for his strength? Did he try and create the ultimate jutsu to try and rival his brother and get some glorious spotlight for himself? Or was it just to clean the battlefield like Orochimaru once said (I believe)? It somehow seems like an insufficient explanation.

What do you think?

IMO, ET was created as an arsenal or for some assistance, Tobi might use it reviving bad guys only, but normally if that jutsu falls to wicked person, then of course the intention of reviving it will much more different.

Well as I explained it somewhere else, can't remember where though, I think Tobirama used it in case of Uchihas would've risen, as a power force to match the Uchihas in case of rebellion.
And the last chapter today, enforces this idea since he said he would expect the Uchihas to do something like that..or anyway, something along the lines.

That's a great theory actually. Well, I hate how absolutely everything must revolve around the Uchiha, which is now more or less a dead clan. Maybe that's why I prefer the idea of Tobirama feeling like he lived in his brother's shadow - it appears they've had several disagreements, after all.

Yeah thats why everything sasuke and madara's plan today are pretty much forecasted well by Tobirama and made him justifies by what he meant as "uchiha's possesed by evil"

Indeed, Tobirama looked more strict than Hashirama. Hashirama looked more like a day-dreamer...So this lead to contradictions among them.

Indeed. When he said to Sasuke "No wonder you're with the enemy".
