NFL Vs Nrl (aussie football)

im Australian ive been watching nfl for sum years now, i like the sport for its strength and raw power to bust though tackles the wide receivers outsmarting the defence to get a clean grab. Those are just some of the things i like about the sport there are more but it would take to long. Now NRL australian football (not soccer thats a gay game but anywhoos) Nrl is a fast paced game that has sooooo many big hits,fights,kicking and catching and is indeed a great game to watch and play, it keeps you on the edge of your seat.I dont want flame and rage saying that NFL is BIGGER AND BETTER i want to know why NRL hasn't caught on in America and to discuss why the TWO games are so great. GO RAVENS

I don't watch NFL for the hard hitting or anything like that. I like the big plays and displays of athleticism. Besides, currently Roger Goodell and friends are in the process to make the game a lot "softer" in regards to players safety. So to answer your question, for people like me, if the only appeal to NRL is the 'violence' then you may as well watch Hockey.
