There's a reason Itachi didn't use his best Susano'o with the Totsuka and Yata Mirror, or Amaterasu on Kabuto.

There's a reason Kabuto was immediately saying "Remember, Itachi, you can't kill me, or Edo Tensei stays up."

There's a reason Kabuto closed his eyes completely around Itachi.

In a no knowledge situation, Tsukuyomi would probably make for an easy victory.

In a kill-alll situation, Kabuto couldn't track Itachi's clone feints, so Amaterasu/Totsuka would certainly hit imo.

With his Edo Tensei army though, Kabuto would smack Itachi around no problem.

But yeah, the author definitely holds Itachi in higher regard.

Itachi can win instantly via:
1) Totsuka Blade (unblockable)
2) Shi Sui's eye (unblockable)
3) Tsukuyomi (he's faster than Kabuto, and one shot wins, so it depends if Kabuto has advanced knowledge of techs)
He can win near instantly with:
4) Massive Ameratsu blasts (body shed doesn't help, as the new body will catch fire too... that's what happens when Itachi is trying to kill you, as opposed to trying to put you down, like he was with Sasuke). Good luck to Kabuto trying to summon edo's while he's flailing about on fire, being torched by the hottest attack in Naruto which is so hot it can burn the toad stomach which is immune to fire.
5) Izanami (unblockable)

Itachi is also faster than Kabuto, and smarter, so tactics wise Kabuto is in trouble too.

Plus, Kabuto's best summons can't be controlled, so can't be safely used (as he is as likely to kill Kabuto as Itachi). Not to mention Kabuto says he "needs some time" to summon him (in the only time we've seen Madara summoned for actual battle purposes), so it's not instant... the guy also needs to be activated remember. Kabuto will be dead long before then.

as i said, he goes underground and emerges like 100m away. problem solved. its possible he cna enter it instantly, since as soon as he first escaped the bros and turned into water, he was in sage mode. thats how he avoided susano arrow. he just didnt enter it instantly, because he wanted to explain to the bros a few things and try and recruit sasuke. once he knew sasuke was against him, he decided on fighting them.

what do you mean unblockable? jsut get something in front of it like kimimaro bones and divert it. also it cant possibly pierce someone made of liquid. its never quite clear how it works or how fast it is. but swinging a sword is slower than shooting an arrow. ask any medieval buff.

useless otherwise itachi would have used it on obito. if he could have and chose not to, then itachis selfish and corrupt

the manga shows this to not be true considering kabuto blitzed him and cut him in half. not to mention shooting off white dragon before the uchihas could react. kabuto also seemed confident in tanking it anyway. with intel he just covers his eyes with his cloak.

no it wont. amat doesnt work like that. kyuubis corrosive chakra burnt up oro but he was just fine when the fight was over and repeatedly used the body shed thing. kabuto has nigh infinite stamina since he absorbed karin's uzumaki longevity.

obito did litlte more than yelp and kabuto's instant regeneration should be able to negate it. kabuto explained to the bros they cant even injure him. in part 1 kabuto showed he can just create new cells. that was improved upon with karin's chakra and now being burnt would just tickle. its not the hottest attack. karin was hit by it and she just sat around while her clothes SLOWLY burnt up. a samurai's armour withstood it for several seconds. it is not hot. its only strenght is being eternally burning.

what do you mean unblockable? just dont attack itachi head on and he cant replicate the sensation of hitting kabuto and so has nothing to repeat. the loop only worked cos of the horn cut and clone stab.

being smarter didnt help him as he didnt realise kabuto could ahve won this any time by just resummoning edos there. itachis lack of intel on edo was fatal for the alliance too since he didnt know about madara. when did his tactics enable him to overpower kabuto without losing an entire eye? when did his tactics help him tank tayuya genjutsu without help form his bro?

he isnt needed. mu solos. and mu was plenty instant when summoned. as was the swordsmenw ho went right from coming out of the coffins to fighting. earth release + kuchiyose edo mu.
