At least the third hokage would've known, or any of the villains (considering we have villains that are over 80 years old) would have already discussed it.. Something in the style of : Weird that there isn't any Namikaze amongst the Alliance, or something.. Or even in the original Naruto when Orochimaru came to Konoha... They didn't even get a mention.. I'd say Minato is just a prodigy ninja of an unknown clan.

That would...would make completely no sense seeing as how the So6p's was around before clans were even thought about being made. He didn't come from any clan the dude was just a priest with impressive chakra and skill, he created everything and taught others.

We haven't known anything about the namikaze clan or whether it actually is a clan or monato's parents are civilians.....but yes, if namikaze turns out to be an ancient clan then it would be really intriguing......

i think that the uzumaki are blood relatives of both uchiha and senju because i believe the sage is Uzumaki , when minato was the hokage (early 20s), the first two hokage where obviously dead, but hiruzen was about 50
so when hiruzen became hokage he was near 30 ( i think) , minato may have been alive in the time of the second hokage , doubt he knew him in person , i look forward to:

minato reacting to
obito as the masked man
naruto bijuu mode
kakashi being a badass

hiruzen seeing the shinobi he raised in battle

tobirama and his reaction to how his creation brought forth the greatest war in history

hashirama and his reaction to madara's plans

Me too. I think that's what may happen during their "interrogation" as if they find it all a bit boring and what to know what each Holage has done. Something is going to come out definitely, but what it is is beyond me atm.
