On my own its pure speculation,but you do know a jinchuuriki inherits their bijuu's power,a valid example is roshi and son goku.
Yagura and his mastery over water.
Yugito and her fingers,which could elongate at will.and soo on.
Tobi basically said it that after rikoudu became juubi's host, he became a God!!

But he was also a lot stronger than any of our heroes now!! I dont think he will and thats just my opinion Dojutsu does not suit Naruto at all...and we still dont know if the SO6P had Rinnegan before he was the Jinchuuriki or not it was never stated one way or the other...
also I don't know what kind of eye the Juubi has its a mix of rinnegan and sharingan so:

I agree, I don't think Naruto is the direct reincarnation, but like an adopted child he hopes will take over from him in his legacy and the other theory is, he is the sage unawakened (I probably play too many Zelda games... lol).

nah Kabuto was a complete sage. he surpassed Orochimaru. only Jiraiya and Orochimaru were imperfect

If Kishimoto wants to leave a slight semblance of originality - as much as it hurt me to say as this is the inconceivable shonen after all - he should leave this horribly cliched idea out. I mean, child of prophecy, will save the world, will bring peace single-handedly; can this get any more insipid? The manga isn't on me, but this is what I believe should be the case, as all horrible cliches have been exhausted on this blond genius already. No more, I implore you Kishimoto.

I see similarities between the two. Link being the chosen Hero of Time and the 7 sages that seal Ganondorf. Naruto the Child of Prophecy, the Tailed-beasts are like the sages and people think Madara might be sealed.

Really? I guess it couldn't hurt. lol I'll see what I can do and gather some more data first. Been playing games all my life and to be honest, Naruto is falling into many cliches from 90's games.

Well I know I would be interested in reading it..lol and yeah Im sure a lot of forum dwellers are the same Naruto is basically one big video game most shonen anime's are!!! I see it as a Final Fantasy of ninja with the Naruto Sasuke dynamic

Yes and there's a game I played before called Suikoden II and not only is it almost exactly how Naruto plays out, there is a Sasuke in the game from a shinobi village. lol It came out in 1999.

According to what the sage said himself. Naruto will be better and stronger than him.

I don't feel like finding the page but when rikudo was talking with the bijuu he explained that some one will come and bring forth true peace and lead the bijuu down the right path. A task he himself failed to pull off. That person is obviously naruto. He may not be the reincarnation of the sage but he will become far better than the sage. People forget that naruto is only 16 years old. Look at his progression and what's he's done so far. He still has his whole life ahead of him. He will become stronger than the sage. That much is pretty obvious.
