Misconception: Kakashi has more jutsus than Hiruzen

Like the title says i believe Kakashi has more jutsus than Hiruzen, and here are the reasons why

Fact number1: Both are said to have thousand jutsus, but there is a slight misconception concerning Kakashi. Kakashi didn't copy thousand jutsus only. It's said he copied over thousand jutsus

Fact number2: It has been a while since Zabuza heard the rumour about Kakashi copying over thousand jutsus(it's when he was in

), so long long ago even before he attempted coup d'etat on Yagura. Do you think that since that time, the number of jutsus Kakashi copied didn't increase? Hell even in that same fight, he copied and used 3 Zabuza's jutsus(

So obviously Kakashi gained even much more than thousand jutsus over time

Fact number3: Hiruzen was called professor after being able to use almost every in the leaf. But what you forget is that, Hiruzen's range of jutsu is limited to Konoha, when Kakashi copied jutsus from plenty other countries with the time after completing his missions. So his range of ninjutsu is greater

Fact number4: In the contrary to Hiruzen, Kakashi has the advantage to have the Sharingan, which has a memory capacity and makes it easier to learn the characteristics of a ninjutsu and learn it instantly

. So the time Hiruzen takes to learn a jutsu, Kakashi can learn it in an instant. Just imagine, it takes him 3years to learn a katon attack that Kakashi can copy in an instant? It gives him much more advantages

Fact number5: Kakashi is stated to be the number1 technician in the leaf and at that moment Hiruzen was still alive

Actually in fact #5 you state that the manga says that Kakashi is the leafs number one tactician, but if you read a little closer you'll see that it says technician. they are 2 different words. Otherwise i believe you make a compelling argument.

Of course he needs Sharingan. Sharingan makes it easier to learn a jutsu. In an instant, you grabs the mechanism and you're able to use it, if you have the affinity, that's it

Copy = Able to use in this manga. The same thing is said concering Hiruzen

Why wouldn't he remember the jutsu's he copied? By copying a technique he performs the hand seals required for the technique. So why wouldn't he remember those hand seals?

The whole point of learning a jutsu is knowing the hand seals and having enough chakra to perform it. Unless we are talking about jutsu's that don't require hand seals, but they are in the minority.

Any other ninja, Hiruzen as an example, has to remember hand seals, and he does so successfully. So why can't Kakashi? He even has the advantage of having the sharingan.

I agree Kakashi has the advantage of copying techniques with the sharingan and had many missions outside Konoha since he was jonin and ANBU so his jutsu arsenal can be bigger than Hiruzen's.

We cant really tell who knows more, but Hiruzen knew over 1000 illusions alone so I would guess he knows more jutsu's overall.

No way Kakashi knows more jutsu then Hiruzen , Hiruzen on one scale was known to have over 1000 genjutsu of bat that isn't including Ninjutus or Taijutsu
