Itachi really could beat Minato..
If they fought 5 times..Itachi might win 1 or 2 of them
he was definately Hokage level.

it has not yet been sed how strong minato really was, i mean he knew a bunch of things learned from jeraya and an uzumaki im prety sure he can beat itachi. if youre thinking minatos strongest jutsu is rosengan and thats not inuf, well itachi strongest was amaterasu but no one knew about susano, minato could have stronger jutsus no one knows about

Itachi and Minato to me are identical characters. What i mean is we have yet to see Itachi go all out and we never will see him go all out. With minato we have yet to see him in a full fledge battle, but hopefully it is more than ftg + rasengan combo. Since we have never seen both characters go all out, me personally i just go with Itachi = Minato.

Itachi is a very intelligent shinobi and as well as a good analyst plus he has the skills....just like minato! So it will be a draw probably considering that both have some real awesome justus! In minato's case therenare space time techs like transportation and the space time barrier! He has the rasengan! On the other hand itachi has the amaterasu which i still think is the most powerful ninjutsu(nothing can be more dangerous than undying flames) and his susanoo which is equipped with totsuka sword and yata mirror making him invincible...so somehow if itachi gets an opening he can easily seal any opponent!

Itachi was able to keep up with KCM naruto and bee, not to mention his ama is almost instant, his yata mirror deflects any jutsu, and his sword seals enemies in 1 swipe. There's also itachi's incredible genjutsu (which minato has no counter for) and shurikenjutsu, which is extremely accurate. Im not saying minato is weak but from what we've seen from itachi he has all the right moves to take out minato. (btw minato's strongest move is his s/t barrier which was able to deflect a tbb, but unfortunately that wont work on a move like ama, which forms on the user

marking would be countered with susanoo, which was able to defend itachi against one of the fastest jutsu's in history. Itachi also has sharingan which he can use to read minato's movements as well

it dosent say its his strongest all it says its that its one of his strongest meaning he got other stronger jutsus and for the genjutsu he dosent need to look in his eyes just like guy

-Yes you are making up things, because no other shinobi has fought itachi without looking into his eyes except for gai, and thats a fact. Also youre forgetting about ephemeral which can be used to temporarily stun minato until another 1 shot jutsu is used (which wont be hard as itachi has plenty)

-Name me 1 sealing technique that minato can use in battle? that's right he doesnt have any because the manga hasnt specifically mentioned anything. You cant just assume that minato has sealing techs that he can use in battle thats like assuming madara has ama and tsukuyomi just because he has susanoo....he could have them but he hasnt shown either so you (or the wiki, or the databook) cant say he has them

-lol what blows? please enlighten me and explain how minato can land a hit on itachi because last time i checked he needed kunai to throw around and with itachis sharingan and incredible shurikenjutsu he can easily counter all of the marked kunai he places, ruining his entire strategy. And about itachi's stamina, you cant say itachi has bad stamina based on what we've seen from the manga. Itachi was sick and he was wasting chakra like crazy (with ama) so making judgments based on that fight is just dumb
