Many People are always Sayins Itachi > Minato or Minato > Itachi but you never Include the Fact that Itachi had time to Display Most if not all his abilities whiles Minato Did Not and i wonder why that was.

This Great Man did a Selfless Act to save the village in a way that was a feat itself but he is constantly frowned upon when this Vs itachi stuff is made. But Now People Still are claiming Itachi> Minato even though His comeback is a chance for Him to reveal more about his Abilities and Skillset and personally I believe this is also a reason kishi allowed for his and the other 3 Hokages returns as well as the backstories to clarify some of the HOLES in the story . Any other time Would be Acceptable to say Itachi > Minato but at this moment tho i would Just hold off on Those OPINIONS, but we all know it will not Happen. AGAIN as most people Stress time and time again... MINATO BECAME HOKAGE FOR A REASON..and he was even thought to have been the Savior of the world of his time. Titles like this is not easily acquired and there is likely a reason for it so i wouldnt count Minato out just yet.

Another thing i want to touch on is somethin about Minatos weakness being his Kunai's with seals on it. Keep in mind that Minato can Place the Seal WHEREVER he wishes so i wouldnt come to that conclusion just yet.

sadly ,you're not the only one who has that stupid opinion. itachi's great, but being put on high kage level, i don't see what he did while alive to warrant that. well at least now the hokage are back, irrefutable proof to how strong the hokage are shouldnt be too far around the corner

Itachi would have also beat the nine tails easy with genjutsu or amateratsu..an I read In one of ur earlier post you said that minato is more intelligent in battle lol stop you only seen the guy fight like one time..an kabuto said itachi was special because he can tell what his opponent is about to do just by looking at them.

Kabuto never got the chance to know or even fight Minato but if he Had he probably would have said something of equal value if not Greater about the 4th. This is a guys who completely Analyzed for a counter attack on Obito in under 1 min.

People underesitmate Itachis ocular powers too much. They think its easy to counter since you dont have to look in the eyes. Just imagine if you have to fight someone without making eye contact, sounds easier than it actually is.

Beeing an Jinchuriki doesnt make someone immune to genjtsu, Hachibi needed 2-3 secs to break it, enough time if he used Tsukuyomi.
Itachi can also use genjutsu by pointing his finger at someone...
Its not like Minato easily avoids his genjutsu.

But thats not the problem. the problem is that you are Using itachis Skills or complete Skills against a Guy whos full techniques wasnt even dispalyed yet.. Its Like North Korea Launchin Nukes at America or vise versa. You dont KNOW wat the other persons got up their sleave.

You're never supposed to underestimate your opponents and often when that happens the Underestimator later regrets it, but Because of Itachis Occular Techniques you conclude that Minato would already be out the fight Before it even starts which simply might not be the case.Since the Two NEVER HAVE FOUGHT, NO One should Declare a winner AT ALL

well, at least in this thread I'm kind of in agreement with you...sort of. I like Itachi better than Minato so my opion is abit bias. This fight could go either way for me. They are both top tier strategist. while Itachi has Amateratsu, Minato has Flying Thunder God to dodge it. Tsukiyomi? I don' t know (or think) Minato can counter this other than to avoid it, and that is really hard to do so Itachi might have Minato there. Susanoo is a beast, but some of those Uzumaki Sealing techs Kushina taught Minato might help with getting rid of Susanoo...I can't say this fight goes like 60-40 for me in Itachi's favor.

Itachi has no counter for FTG. Fact is, if Minato only needs to touch Itachi ONCE and BOOM it will be Tobi vs Minato all over again, its game over.
