It's possible that he had no idea of the war until afterwards.

Him not being involved could very well be the same reason the other Strawhats weren't involved: They were too far away and didn't know what was happening.

Or perhaps since he may be a revolutionist, Dragon told him that he doesn't want Sabo to risk his life so Sabo was reluctant enough to accept that and stayed. Why? Well because the rev. army obviously are still not prepared to show themselves to the world just yet and Sabo understood that

With that said, I think Sabo must be pissed that Luffy let ace die...But if he is alive, why didn't he go and save them? I hope he makes an appearance in the next 100 chapters! Almost 700.

if Sabo really is alive, I think he has changed into a whole another person. neither good or evil, but someone who does anything to change the world, like Dragon.

It's not like Luffy let him die...Ace's death was his own fault it was explained that he couldn't back down when he had no chance of winning.

If anything Luffy would be pissed that Sabo let Ace die...that is of course if Sabo is actually alive.
