So that fight can end even before Itachi's ninjutsu. U_U

Amateratsu- one mistake and Minato is loosing.

CS + Totsuka blade + Yata mirror- still unkown how is Minato suppose to break his defense.
I don't know if he even had a single toad.

So having FTG isn't enough to win.
RDS needs time, so it's a fail.

Nothing against Itachi but I have never liked his arsenal of jutsu When he was first shown in part 1 of the series I thought he was great but when part 2 came along and we saw his ultimate jutsu Susanoo I was not impressed.

Izanami: Why would Itachi waste an eye to put him under a genjutsu that he can break...? The only reason it was used on Kabuto was so he learned a lesson.


Tsukoyomi: If he's hit by Tsukoyomi, he probably will lose the fight.

Amateratsu: Minato won't make such a mistake, then there's the fact Itachi has to hit him with it. Remember how Minato moves near close to the speed of light. Oh yeah

CS + Totsuka blade + Yata mirror: Doubt Itachi would use Totsuka blade unless he's in a tight spot, or yata mirror really. They both drain extreme amounts of chakra. We already know Itachi has chakra reserves a little higher than Kakashi's.


We don't actually know all of Minato's abilities. How do you think he got through the first like, 20 years of his life without Rasengan or FTG(we don't know when he got FTG). Minato could be extremely proficient in genjutsu, who knows! The way you've explained it yeah Itachi probably would win, but Minato won't go down without a fight. We know he can spam FTG as well so it's more a battle of who has more chakra and who uses it better.

Itachi and Minato have an equal chance of killing each other, imo.
Whichever can move first would win, be it FTG or Tsuyukomi.

Of course, when more of Minato's techniques are revealed, this match-up will slowly tilt into his favor.

So far everyone failed against tsukoyomi, only Sasuke manage to escape, Minato isn't cappable to do that.

amaterasu can be avoided by either teleporting or sealing. it's a fast and powerful, but slow-burning flame. neither the samurai, karin, nor sasuke received lasting damage when hit by it.

susanoo is actually a detriment to itachi because a. it's cumbersome b. chakra costly c. causes intense pain d. leads to blindness e. in minato's case it's a pure defense since there's almost a zero chance he will be hit by the totsuka sword. yamata no orochi and a crippled nagato are much easier targets than the yellow flash. plus it can only be maintained for minutes maximum until itachi's chakra runs out.

the only way i can see itachi winning is if he traps minato in a paralyzing genjutsu and he cannot break out. personally i don't see a hokage being that weak. and trapping minato in an eye genjutsu while he's teleporting is not an easy feat. if minato touches itachi ONCE, the match is pracitcally won. to clarify that, sparring is out of the question against minato. if he's marked, itachi needs to camp in susanoo and hope he can hit minato with the totsuka before his time runs out. (assuming he figures out he's been marked that is). i don't fancy those odds.

Kakashi has no answer against Tsukoyomi.
and like I said, this is just only one of Itachi's genjutsu.
