I'm only using hype and mangafacts in this thread. We've never really seen the Hokages full power since we rarely even saw Minato fighting and when it happens it last 2seconds, Hiruzen? We have never seen his prime. Like we've never seen hashirama or Tobirama fighting. Would you have expected Madara to be this strong if he wasn't revived by Edo tensei? I doubt. So you can't say what they can do or not. I'm fairly sure that in the next chapters, they would do surprising things, too much surprising that you couldn't have even imagine before.

Nagato is using Madaras eyes.
Madara was the first and the ONLY one to ever awaken Rinnegan ( besides Sage if you count him ).

Seems that Madara doesn't even know how to use Rinnengan as well as Nagato since we've even never seen him use another Path than Gakido when there are sometimes where even a small Shinra tensei could have been more usefull. Like Obito has not shown another Rinnengan ability than the Outer Path. I don't think we should give techniques to ninjas without actually seeing them, or it would be easy for us as well to create techniques for the Edo Kages
