He can sense amaterasu before hand then activate it, amaterasu takes a little time before it's fired. Even if he somehow gets hit amaterasu is slow burning so the damage wont be a lot and he can recover his wounds with Nakara path(I think that's the one where it healed his legs).

Kishimoto logic. He could have absorbed some tailed beast chakra easily or just used assura path to replace his legs but Kishi needed him gimped.

Yes but if he is hit he can make body parts with the asura path and then fix the asura path parts with Nakura path of restoration.. And also he can absorb it before it does more damage.

He can use multiple paths at the same time so petra paths got him covered, so he wont get taken out whilst using CT which I don't think he needs to use.
