Being Republican = Being Conservative. The definition of being Conservative is being traditionally oriented and having the stability and prosperity of a country first. Danzo followed very 'traditional' ninja ideals. He wanted Konoha to be stable and a good place to live but had strange methods to get there.

Being Democrat = Being Liberal. The definition of being liberal is open to new behavior or opinions and willing to discard traditional values. He was open to treating the Kyuubi Jincuuruki better, and was willing to leave behind the nations 'prejudice' against the Uchiha and negotiate.

Nah. Most Republicans today are Neoconservatives. They put on a front of actually being conservative when in fact they're not. Example being Bush's foreign policy. A lot of Republicans from what I know supported the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. No one in their right mind would support those wars and the war on terror if they had the "stability" of the country in their mind.

Anyways, I see what you're saying and I agree Danzo is conservative. But I don't agree that he'd fit the example of today's Republicans.

Well said, well said indeed. I am not American but I assumed most people on this website are so instead of Conservative, I used Republican. I think I should have named the title, Danzo is Conservative... instead.
