Connection between Kushina and Uchihas?

Do you remember? In an interview, Kishimoto said there was a connection between Kushina and Uchihas that would be explained later. Maybe it's one of the things that Minato would reveal :shrug:

Concerning the link of the interview, i've difficulties to find it. It seems that the link died, but i found this in a forum concerning it:

Actually there was more- stuff ignored by the first Jump Festa reporters, but noted by later ones (like last year, the later reports were far better than first horrendously inaccurate "summary transcript")

New more detailed spoilers from Jump Festa:
- Will focus on 3 specific characters: Naruto, Sakura and Kakashi.
- Sasuke will reveal a secret for next year
- Some Alliance losses
- Kabuto has a jutsu that not only endangers Madara but the world.
- We will know more about Kushina's past, particularly her connection with the Uchiha.


The last is rather obviously going to be about Kushina's friendship with Mikoto. I'm fairly certain we'll also see if Mikoto was the one who betrayed Kushina to Madara, and if so was it willingly or was she pressured? I have a feeling we'll see she was pressured a bit by Fugaku. Fugaku's stature will fall even more, where Mikoto will come across a bit more sympathetically- it wasn't a willing betrayal.)

well besides the connection of sasuke's mother and naruto's being friends, i think also they are relate in the ritual that requires sealing the nine tails into its jinchuriki since we have seen that uchihas were able to control the nine tails and that would make the process more smooth i guees?... now you might argue that minato sealed the kurama into Naruto by him self but he did not sealed it with 100% chakra... well just a thought that to me could be a conection between the uchihas and Kushina
