Why wasn't Hiruzen revived in his prime?

I thought Edo Tensei revived people in their prime... you could make the same argument for granny Chiyo.

Old Hiruzen is definitely not his prime form.. so I don't know..?

Doesn't make much sense but oh well. Maybe I'm misunderstanding something here.

I'm not even a Hiruzen fan but old Hiruzen is probably the weakest out of the bunch there.

Omg you guys really don't read the manga. Edo tensei has been explained before. Go back and read. The Edo is brought back to the form when he died. Hiruzen died old. He came back old. Madaras case was different thanks to Kabuto experimenting with him.

Well, if Hiruzen prime was sooo godly as the fans like to say, Orochimaru should have done the same for Hiruzen. So, this proves that Hiruzen wasn't as godly in his youth as people make him out to be.

No need to cause a hissy fit, I didn't understand the jutsu completely so a nice reiteration of how it works without being rude would have been more acceptable.

they dont get back in their primes. And even so, I think its safe to say Hiruzen was in his prime back then.
aging makes the stamina go down
But it adds up on the experience part and thus the jutsu knowledge.
Concidering that, you can easily say hes in his prime at the time he died

Don't jump into hasty conclusions we don't even know if Oro wants to use them in a fight.The only thing we know is that he revived them to learn about the past!Until we know what Oros and Sasukes plans are you can't conclude something like that.

Firstly, We dont even know if Orochimaru knows how to work edo tensei like Kabuto... 2ndly,as the guy above said? do you see orochimaru having preparations to even do something like that? dont kid yourself
