How in the hell?

Does anyone else find it weird how it took Naruto weeks to cover the distance between the village and turtle island ( which is close to the land of lightning ) and Sasuke's group just happens to cover the same distance, if not more in a matter of hours...?

Also bear in mind that Naruto is way faster than Sasuke

The turtle island is very close to the land of lightning; i'm pretty sure it would still take Sasuke atleast a couple f*cking days to get back to the leaf, not a couple of hours.

In the anime there were many fillers of extra adventures when they were travelling over there. If we talk about manga then It might have taken him more time to reach there because it was supposed to be a secret from Naruto (that they were hiding him and Killer Bee since they are Jinchuurikis).

They also had to hide from Tobi and Kabuto so maybe they took a longer path to reach the island. Now there's also that the Island can move so it might've been further away back then.

When it comes to Sasuke and Orochimaru, they don't have anything to worry about, no obstacles, nothing, they probably just too a straight direction towards the village without any difficulties.

Anyway, that's my thoughts about this matter

They would've had to take a hell load of detours for it to take so long if it was just a couple hours ninja jumping there, and by the looks of it actually they walked there.
