Every time I re-read the manga I saw patterns patterns patterns and then bam, foreshadowing.
Only that to do it, it will be a hell of a long time, lol.

With Team 7 resolution I have at least 3 possible endings. One of them is similar to the OP's idea.

Sounds interesting and yes, regarding the original post it does make you wonder how will it be handled in the end. We know Naruto refuses to let go, but you pointed out Neji's death might alter that. Sakura may love him but she was willing to try and kill him, so the question does remain would he be welcomed or is his death, arrest or banishment inevitable?

for me I loved the manga because of team 7 the whole show is about there bond

If it does infact end with the original team 7 coming back together, I'm sure it'll be explained by some crap like "Kakashi was willing to kill a Sasuke who threatened/attempted to kill two of his students, not a Sasuke who helped save the world by assisting in the defeat of Obito/Madara/Juubi". Sakura didn't have the heart to kill Sasuke on either occasion, so that's not really an issue.

I would rather see the manga end with Naruto and Sasuke killing each other, though. Every other possible ending in my mind would just be too cliche..but I'm sure one of the "good" endings will occur.

Glad to see another HunterxHunter fan! I love Gon and Killua (and HISOKA ) dynamics just as much as i love team 7 dynamics. But Kishi kidda f.cked up in Shippuden with not developing Sakura enough and making Taka Sasuke to cruel.

I love kurapik 2....Loved loved loved the Yorknew Shin Arc.The way he owned uvo and he still remains nice and loyal to his friends. Did you notice how similar the hxh and naruto characters are?

Gon = Naruto
Kurapik + Killua = Sasuke

yeah I always thought that but kurapika and killua is alot better than sasuke with my all respect kurapika had the same past but he still keeped his friend he even cried for his enemy and killua is just wonderful the friendship between them is too deep and good
