So, I'm on episode 11 now. And I'm wondering if the whole season is like this,,
It just feels like im jumping from one scene to the next, Also does the fighting get intense at all?? I would like to see Hei use his powers a lot more...

But from what I can see so far, He is a contractor(but not like the rest,, he actually does NOT like them).
He is looking to find out what happened to his sister along the way it seems.
Also it seems that there are artifacts from the "wall or gate" that he is trying to find..

Also, that dude with the Cigar and cap, does Hei work for him or are they working together in a group?? IDk
But the it just seems very jumpy if you get what i'm saying.

Anyway, will it always be like this or will I get to see some epic fights?

The show actually does get a lot more action packed towards the end and youll see hei use his powers a bit more. As for why he isnt using them much now is because he only needs them as a finishing blow. He actually works for a group called the syndicate and the guy with the cigar is the one who passes on the jobs.

Its a good series but don't put it on a level with stuff like the Big 3, the fights are OK but remember this is more assassin type stuff, so yes its supposed to be like this. Don't expect any earth shattering battles or anything. In a way it's more of a psychological anime than an actiony one.

Ah... finished this one in 2010 I think. One of the best animes out there. The battles are quick and legit. No milked out, sword clashing stuff. Real lethal fast deaths. And a great story

Intense yes but I think he's expecting some over the top earth shattering DBZ type battle and that's just not what this anime is.

Good, it's worth the watch. There's a second season as well titled Gemini of the Meteor.
