Everyone saying the one who knows everything are the Hokages, Elders, Izuna or Sasuke's Parents.
According to me, the correct one is Sasuke's Parents and little bit role of the Elders. Look at the image below.
From whom Sasuke wants to know? Everything was infront of our eyes. Look at the last four panels.
Middle Panel : Sasuke says that he don't know much and wanted to know everything.
Bottom Right Panel : Orochimaru questions "Everything?" and then says that Sasuke is still a child to know all that. On which Sasuke defends
Bottom Middle and Left Panel : Sasuke remembers Itachi's words.
This shows that, everyone from his family considered him a "CHILD" who does not need to know everything about the big matters going around.
For that he needed Orochimaru. Because he knew that other than Kabuto, Orochimaru is the only one who can arrange for a conversation with his parents no matter what cost he has to pay for it.

- His Parents thought of not discussing with Sasuke was that he is too young and still a child.
- Itachi's thoughts of not discussing with Sasuke was that he (Itachi) can convince his parents not to set the coup, he never trusted Sasuke's power and no point in discussing about the coup with him because he is still a child.
- Later, Itachi felt that he failed because he tried to do everything by himself and not trusting others. That's why he said that if he discussed the topic of the coup with Sasuke, maybe Sasuke could have tried to convince his parents not to set a coup against the village he loved, where he learned various jutsus, principles, friendship and lots more and there could have had a possibility that Fugaku change his mind about the coup and give the village another chance for setting their (Uchiha) position in the village.

- He wants to know why his father decided the coup against the village. What made them to set it?
- He wants to know why Itachi gone against the clan and chose the village. And the one who knows about this are the elders because the two elders remaining were close to Danzo who was the leader of the Anbus and was one of the them who ordered Itachi to spy on the Clan. They must know some thing about Itachi why he turned to the village instead of his clan.
- He wants to know how was the relation between the village and Uchiha clan.
