Why are emo kids hated?

Hate is a strong word, most people dislike them because all they do is bitch and moan and try to bring everyone else down

I'm just curious as to why someone would want to harm themselves. I mean, sure, I'm insecure too, but I won't go around cutting my body. That's just messed up.

Because they've experienced something painful and hurting themselves helps them cope with living on this ****ty planet.

Emo as in the people who act like their life is **** and act all depressed about it? If you're referring to those guys, then I dislike them because quite a lot of depressed people don't act depressed. I kind of see it as disrespectful to actual people who are going through ****. You know like kids in Africa. Most Emo's that act like that have first world problems and need to get the **** over it. I'm pretty sure I'm generalizing this **** hahaha.

Because we're not sure what's worse, bell bottoms or emo kids. So when we see either it forces us to try and figure out which one is truly the worst thing in all of human fads, then we get real mad since both are so truly awful one cannot fathom their depths of depravity. The person who contemplates this then lashes out at whichever one they see next.

So which is truly worse...bell bottoms...or emo kids...we'll never know...

Its hard to say. In highschol I wasn't fond of them. Many of them where just posers who though they where all that because they wore black and had a long haircut. I don't like how they just darken everything, I don't want to sound like a bigot but honestly I don't like how they just.... its so hard to explain
