It's really kind of context sensitive.

For my own personal satisfaction/gratification? No. I'd never take steroids.

If it was to enhance my chances of success in a mission (more of a military or operative scenario) - then I would consider it if it would give me an edge in survival and/or success.

But for general "I want to work out" or "I want to run in a marathon" - no.

Of course, my main problem in building muscle mass is that I have a high metabolism and simply do not have a regular diet that can support an extra 15lbs of muscle. I can add about ten to myself - but I don't usually see much more than that (and I'm eating practically 4000 calories a day at that point - I get pissed when I walk into a store and everything is labeled low fat).

If you take steroids there is a very high chance of getting impotence or other kind of issues to getting the little fella up, if that is what you want then shoot for it. Natural bodybuilders always look better than those on steroids anyway.

Im a big guy myself bro, and let me give you sum advice. Get a personal trainer, you get a little muscle and u might gain a friend aswell.

But seriously, don't take steroids. It may be good for someone who's young. But by the time you're 30, that stuff will have taken a toll on your body. Plus if large amounts are taken, it can even kill you 1 day. Also, working out without the use of steroids will not only get you muscle, but it will also toughen you up.

i did a research paper on this. 15 pages. from the info ive gathered the consequences overweigh the good.
you get big but get small in he most important area.. that enough shoul convince you otherwise.
