Jinchurikis are supposed to play a huge role in a village's military force. If the jinchuriki of a village happened to die they would lose about 50% of their military power. So why was Naruto was Naruto getting sent on missions all the time risking his life?

Wouldn't it be safer to just keep him in the village in security and train him and sending someone else instead?
That's what Kumogakure did with their jinchuriki, Bee wasn't allowed to leave the village. To me it is a wiser move.

Konoha is dumb.

I think their reasoning was it would keep the enemy guessing where he was >_O

Obviously he would be safer in the village than sent on A and S rank missions nearly dying all the time.

Yes but the only difference was that Bee had the Raikage on his side.
On the other hand, Naruto is just getting sent on missions with a bunch of fodder chunnins.

Tsunade is always making stupid decisions, this is one of the reason why I hate her.

Which is why i'm saying Konoha is dumb.

yea good idea to keep him in the village because if that would have happened nagato would have destroyed konoha and kidnapped naruto no diff.

Keep Naruto in the village? Lol. Do you think he'd be able to sit still knowing that the war is going on?

The frog world is totally a safe place, even safer than the village. No one can go there without the frog's authorization. Besides Danzo is the one to blame for not sending his anbu force out when the village got invaded.

Akatuski wanted him, as they did with any other jinchuuriki. While keeping Naruto there would help ensure their military strength, it would also mean that Akatsuki could find him at any time, and go out in full force to capture him, potentially meaning the destruction of Konoha (happened anyway...). He is still a Konoha Shinobi, and as such still needed for missions. By sending him out, they reduced the risk of Akatsuki attacking the village, increasing their safety, while still allowing missions to be carried out for the village.

As for part 1...he was with Kakashi and had been trained like anyone else. His mission's weren't exactly ridiculous, minus Zabuza and Haku being involved. Although why Orochimaru never went after him....

I'm not specifically talking about the war ROFL. He was getting sent on missions all the time during part 1 when he was still weak.

Well it is debatable as Naruto didn't die in these missions, nor did he get captured while on these missions >_O
