Those who open this gate will pour glowing green sweat from every inch of their body, blue in the anime, which immediately evaporates from their own heat energy, creating an aura which people would mistake as a chakra coating. Your every sense explodes into full awareness and you wonder how long you've been blind and deaf. It increases the user's speed by 70%
8. The Gate of Death (死門, Shimon), located at the heart. Releasing this gate uses up all of the body's energy. It makes the heart pump at maximum power and exceeds the power of every other gate. That's a huge list.
We don't know if 8th gate has any new tech or just a boost of speed,stamina etc,etc.
I can only speculate and I don't have the patience to do that for 32 people.

The user is free to use it until his chakra runs out. so, not included.
When obito's phases, his eye remains material.
Izanagi is done with the risk of loosing one eye and i dont think obito will have the mind to do that.
And basically, Gai's speed is greater than Minato's in the eight gate so, i dont think Obito can evade that.

kakashi can go to the other dimension avoiding hirudora not it only but the dust,the meteor,giant biju doma too
so even gai with 8th gate can't beat kakashi because it won't affect who in other dimension

There is no high diff between Pain and the eight gates............really.
1. Deva path: (manipulation of gravity) can be countered with speed
2. Animal path: (summoning of different creatures) can be countered with the immense strength of the first gate and the fourth gate; and also the Asakujaku of the sixth gate and the Hirudora of the seventh gate.
3. Naraka path: (summoning of the king of hell for interrogation and restoration): can be used after the person has been taken down already.
4. Preta path: (can absorb any chakra based ninjutsu) is useless because Gai doesn't use ninjutsu.
5. Asura path: (clouds the user in mechanized amour and grants him various weapons) the weapons can be countered by speed and the Asura can be defeated by close range taijutsu which is Gai's favourite.
6. Human path: (can read any body's mind at the cost of ripping the person's soul) so off point because he wont even have the slightest opportunity.
7. Outer path: (control over life and death and summoning of the gedo statue) the gedo releases a dragon which kills at touch. Hanzo's teleportation has been said to counter it so Gai's eight gate can too.

Pain may be able to defeat the eight gate, and also vice versa. so........Pain 56%
