Sword Of Totsuka

So lately I started seeing many Nagato vs Itachi threads.
And like me, I think people understand that the main reason
to that is Chibaku Tensei, as it took 1 Magatama, 1 Bijuu Dama &
1 Rasenshuriken to destroy it.
We can all agree that Itachi can't destroy it alone.

But in theory he can seal the grabity ball, as Totsuka
seals anything it pierces.
And it being under rocks wouldn't matter as Tosuka can
actually grow longer and the grabity will pull Tosuka to
the center black sphere.

Toughts?

Seeing as how Itachi has low stamina due to his illness.

Totsuka isn't sealing inanimate, non living objects. Totsuka seals them into a world of eternal Genjutsu, its obvious that the sword was only meant to seal living things hence the target being sealed into an eternal Genjutsu world as Genjutsu only affects living things.

So no, it isn't sealing CT's core.

We all know Nagato is superior to Itachi.
But what I was trying to provide, was a way Itachi can
counter Chibaku Tensei.
Chou Shinra Tensei would be easier to block, as it doesn't trap you,
and Yata Mirror can block anything.
About the soul part. I used to think that, but re-reading manga,
it always says anything it pierces.

Nope, it pierces anything it touches.. I myself just recently reread the manga and it clearly says anything the tosuka blade pierces gets sealed forever. ANYTHING.

Everything in the bold is incorrect, and when they said anything gets sealed, they were referring to living organisms, not inanimate, nonliving objects. That's like saying Totsuka can seal a rock. Also:
