idk man shikamaru beat hidan who is on par with zabuzas kenjutsu, he's the smartest guy in the leaf and he can create multiple shadows to chase people. think about what mist does it blocks the sun creating a faint shadow. so they are both in their element but shikamaru is smarter and can dodge high lvl kenjutsu
