Seen that. Civilian tried to cut into a convoy and a Humvee flipped trying to get out of the way. Dudes brained ended up on the sidewalk.
Saw another Humvee get hit by an ied while we were driving along a creek. Bank collapsed and the humvee went in the water upside down. All four of them drowned before we got the doors open.
Operation Flight Suit lol. I was on a FOB and my mission there was only supposed to be for a week. Turns out the chopper only comes every three weeks...ya. So I was stuck there for another week when suddenly a chopper from another FOB lands. Five minutes later my POC is telling me to get on the chopper no matter where it goes. Apparently the SGT Maj and BC of an SF Battalion had just gotten off and they were wearing flight suites. They were wearing flight suites because their FOB had been rocketed for two days straight and their clothes had been ruined. That night everyone from the SF dudes, Psy Opers, Infantry, Artillary, Cooks, and Mechanics were loaded up and ready to roll. We wiped out three villages male populations and that SGR Maj. took one to the dome. 82 enemy kills. No idea how many wounded. 12 KIA including the SGT Maj. SGT Majors don't get shot at. Thousands of pounds of explosives detonated. Basically 500 soldiers went to war against the entire civilian population in 100 miles in every direction.
Lol heard this WHOOSH go over my head turned around and there's an explosion about two hundred meters behind me. Realized it was an RPG. Look down and made sure I didn't just piss my pants. Nope. Cool. Shoot back. RPGs are a lot faster in real life than the movies by the way.
lol we would go on these good will missions and give kids candy and stuff. I always gave the girls bubblegum because that was the local favorite and they get the **** end of the stick over there. Little boy pushes down a girl. Lollipop to the head as hard as I can throw it. Thought that was bad. Civilian threw a rock at our Humvee. We aren't allowed to throw stuff back. Though D cell batteries tend to fall off the truck regularly...but they tried the same with the ANA guys. ANA pulled over and busted out their windshield. Dude gets out and BAM! Buttstock to the head. KTFO'd.
