Time exists. How you measure it doesn't matter, but progression happens. That is a blatantly evident fact. This material world is space, time, and matter.
Time is a thing, like a black hole. Just before you go into the black hole you can tell that there is at least something there. Once you cross the event horizon though, you're no longer aware that the black hole is really there at all. Time is something we're inside of, and when you're in a forest it's not like you can really tell. Someone walking up to the forest can see it, but once they're inside all they can see are trees. Same with fog. Have you ever actually been in a fog? No, the fog is always over there, not where you are, but someone else can look over at you and tell that you're in the fog. ^_^
I had a lot of thinking recently and i realized, No... I came to the conclusion that time itself does not exist, It is rather a word used as a measurement of existence and the consequences of decay. Hours, Minutes, Seconds, Are only a numerical measurement of existence!
My point may not be 100% accurate, But still, What are your thoughts on this interesting find i've just shared?

Also on a small note: Please no trolling, Flamming, Or overuse of foul language, I'm not expecting everyone to agree with me nor post and there is no need whatsoever for uncivilized flamming... Thank you...
i have often written about time, as it is a fascinating matter , heres one of my previous posts..
dont read if you're not interested in reading other's thoughts..
Its sad..., when i think of time all i see is the end..
from the moment we are born, we get closer and closer to death with each second. If you look at your clock right now, what do you see?
i see an arrow pointed at my neck, unmovable, unchangeable and irrevocable.., and slowly but surely piercing each and every one of us, we are all hostages of time and we are getting killed. Time's the winner, we're the losers.
you, me, everyone here and the entire world, we are the people of this Age, the victims of this age, there are over 6 billion people on this planet, and you know what? - in a 100 years they are all dead!
a 100 years?! for 6 billion people?, seems unfair..
go back 1000 years ago, at a random place at random time, and pick a random person, watch him as he lives hes random life grows old and dies.., no one remembers hes name, no one knows how much he cared for his family and the sacrifices he made, the good and the bad deeds, hes dream, his pain..
who is he?
thats you!
its me maybe..
its most of us a 1000 years from now!
where are the billions of people who lived thousands of years ago?
they are lost in time..
did their life matter?
to them maybe
does it hold any meaning now?
it doesnt..
because no one remembers them?
no, because they are dead
if every second we are getting closer to death, does that mean we are living, or does it mean we are dying?..
if the answer is both, then life and death are the same thing, my answer is, we are all dying, the entire universe, we were never truly alive - we are only guests in this world, breathing the air, smelling the flowers, tasting the wine - but our tickets back to nothingness is already set on schedule.
what matters in your life?
all that matters to you are illusions, because they will fade, and when they do its the same as you never existed - the only thing that would be against that fact would be our minds denying the truth and giving value or matterness to our lives!
at this period in time, we are the people of NB - if there will be such a site in 20 years - we will not be be here, our replacements will, and what replaces the present is the future
we are the future of the past
and when they come - we are the past
a second is consistent of almost infinite smaller values if a micro second is gone by, then that micro second is dead lol, "you're dead to me micro second, do u hear me? - you're dead to me!!" jk jk
but seriously though as im writing this, my words are becoming history, its supposed to be the present but what im writing is becoming the past as i do it and what im writing "presently" is the future of my previous words a second ago" what lies under, is the future of what lies above.
in short, the Past, the Present, and the Future are one and the same thing and they all happen simultaneously!
a 1000 years ago "past" 0 years ago "now" 1000 from now "future" - is the same only in slower motion! - so my point is, what will end in a 100 years, ...has already ended!
so what is my point with all this?..
honestly it just makes me sad and i wanna get it out, but if i had an ulterior point then it would be this..
This whole world is meaningless whether you like it or not, nothing you say, or do matters, whatever you had, have, or will have holds no value! - you came from nothing you go back to nothing!
your family are made from atoms that dates back to the creation of the universe, and many parts of you comes from different stars!
the toilet paper that you use, some of its atoms may one day be part of a human, a normal everyday person who feels hes life holds meaning!
so when you judge a person by his color or race - it makes you one of the Dumbest creatures ever lived!! - you're an alien bro!, some of you're molecules may be from mars who knows!, so dont judge someone because hes back or white!
what are we?
we are no more than consciousness inside a body, all that ever matters to us what is in our minds! - and how do we know our mind knows anything?
people have always argued with me about this, but i have always known, and will know that Nothing really matters, because if everything ends, then everything is an illusion!, a dream.., for something to be real it must exist!, and if it only exists in space but not time then its useless! - for things to truly matter they must be neverending!, even life!
So my final point is, everything in this world is an illusion, therefore try to be as real as you can be!, choose the One illusion that matters to you most, embrace it, and make it your reality!!
i choose Love..., its the only illusion in this world worth living.
though i have a dream of discovering immortality through genetics
Regarding your thoughts, when i first started thinking about time, i came to the same conclusion as you, and in a way i still do, however ive found time to be a much more compicated matter than we'd like to believe, some scientists believe there are 11 Dimensions including our universe, 10 Space Dimensions, and 1 Time Dimension, for our three Dimensional world, time is the Fourth Dimension, but for the Next Dimension, time is the fifth Dimension and so on and so on - this is part of the String theory
time completes space, and vice versa, which is why its called space-time continuum
even Einstein believed time was a Dimension, though einstein said many things including the possibility of time Travel, which im certain is Impossible, i dont believe there are Infinite versions of the Universe, a version for every micro or nano second, theres no past for you to travel to, the present is your past, and future, they are happening simultaneously which creates something we call the Present.
however time is not nothing. Imagine yourself sitting in a chair, while the whole Universe stops functioning, and the Consequences of Decay are no more, the whole world is still, nothing happening, soon enough you will realize nothing is changed "Timewise", regardless of everything around you. Youve been sitting there for hours, doing nothing, not moving a muscle, yet time has passed by as if nothing is changed - so is time just something that exists in our minds?, lets go back to the chair, only this time, you dont even think or breath, your mind is static, there is no activity inside your body, none!, youre completely dead, but lets say by some miracle you come back to life, and you replay your death, or better yet, you replay your mind while you where dead, what will you see through your dead eyes? - nothing! - but here is the twist.., this nothing proves the existence of time, because When you replay your dead mind, you might be seeing, thinking or sensing Nothing for a While, but then youre back to normal!, why? - because time does exist!!, and what you experienced was a dead space in a living time, you started the Replay at 12:00 and it ended at 16:00 "four hours of nothing and then youre back to normal" that means, despite the absence of motion and energy, time still went on and the period you spent in nothingness was 4 hours!!. and you started being something again - so my point is, time does exist in a way, we are yet to find out more about it, anyway time is Linked to our Universe, but its not parted of it, without the Universe, there would be no time for us, but there might be for other Dimensions or Existances.

Classical intuition would hold that events are causally linked (One thing happens which causes another thing and therefor causes other things to happen).
But this does not seem to be the reality we live in:

Quantum Mechanics is 'weird' in that it doesn't make sense in classical terms.
To quote:
"Now an international team of physicists led by Caslav Brukner from the University of Vienna have shown that even the causal order of events could be in such a superposition. If -- in our example -- Alice and Bob have a quantum system instead of an ordinary piece of paper to write their messages on, they can end up in a situation where each of them can read a part of the message written by the other. Effectively, one has a superposition of two situations: "Alice enters the room first and leaves a message before Bob" and "Bob enters the room first and leaves a message before Alice."
"Such a superposition, however, has not been considered in the standard formulation of quantum mechanics since the theory always assumes a definite causal order between events," says Ognyan Oreshkov from the Université Libre de Bruxelles (formerly University of Vienna). "But if we believe that quantum mechanics governs all phenomena, it is natural to expect that the order of events could also be indefinite, similarly to the location of a particle or its velocity," adds Fabio Costa from the University of Vienna.
The work provides an important step towards understanding that definite causal order might not be a mandatory property of nature. "The real challenge is finding out where in nature we should look for superpositions of causal orders," explains Caslav Brukner from the Quantum Optics, Quantum Nanophysics, Quantum Information group of the University of Vienna."
This may represent one of the first times the experiment has been done... but this very concept of QM confounding classic causality has existed since the days of Schrodinger's Cat:

These experiments get eerily close to performing Schrodinger's proposed experiment (even though he likely didn't imagine such a thing would be possible, much less be the future work of only two or three generations his successor). While not a cat - systems millions of times larger than theorized possible (into the 80s) and phenomena have been the subject of "super-position" goals:

For practical classical purposes - time exists.
Treating it as a real part of the universe is a bit dangerous... because we recognize time as part of the experience... but it has been shown that QM doesn't really care what happened two Planck Seconds ago.
Personally, I propose that our existence is a merger of two different 'universes' (for lack of a better term) and that our conscious experience is the cataloging of physical observations. This collection of observations limits our experience to what is plausible (the rules for determining what is plausible determined by the interaction between these two universes); while the universe, itself, exists as raw possibility to be navigated.
Though that is nothing more than a random theory, the nature of which I do not expect could ever be tested or demonstrated true.
The point, though, is that classic interpretations of time and the universe don't hold up too well under quantum mechanics.
Time is only a way to say where the sun/moon are. Because of course 'time' itself does not exist. But as well if time did not exist than you can't say that history and future exist. Because both of them are related with 'Time' itself.
Time exists, though perhaps not in the way we as people generally view it. Its that same as colors. I see colors, therefore they exist. But, at the same time "color" is just how our brains interpret different wavelengths of light. So in reality colors are just descriptive tools whereas light is the actual physical thing.
Time may very well be the "actual physical thing". But it could also be a scenario where that's just our descriptive tool, and the particle/force behind time is just not yet found/explained.
Time exists, we measure it but we didn't invent it, note however that the concept of Absolute Time has been replaced by Time-Space from Einstein's gravitation model.
Youre right it doesnt exist t. Its just a sequence that we as humans created. You have a good mind to research that.some say that this is the main reason why we disbelieved gods power.

No derp obito we really did just create the concept of time. Through a sequence of numbers. We started.counting from 1 to infinity then applied it to the day. Notice that we start counting once the day start and restart counting once its done. We manufactured it. Before humans time was just an endless amunt of space.
