The anime will have about 10 filler arcs. Probably a few backstory arcs, some love stories, and an excess of gay battles, like Kiba vs tenten over a bowl of ramen. The manga will do a bunch of collection stuff, color pages, HD drawings, you know the usual

Be prepared, you thought it was bad, it will get worse.

Filler exist to FILL in the spots between the anime and the manga when they get to close to each other in production.
Once the manga is over and the anime catches up it too will be finished unless kishi says other wise.

bleach is gonna end before naruto though, and who knows when one piece is gonna end, i think one piece still has a good 7 years left

Its funny how including naruto pt1 and pt2 together they wouldnt make 300 episodes haha it has so much just cause of fillers otherwise the anime would be pretty short...

TV Tokyo business men just want to milk Naruto Shippuden for all it's worth to make more $ which is why they make all of that filler.

i thought it was 330 cannon episodes and 200 fillers

Oh my bad then i just said that in a spur moment since with all these fillers going on and the half of naruto part 1 is full of fillers, and in the second part the sora arc, many short filler arcs, after pain arc x2 filler arcs in the war this is just too much, i mean look at one piece i dont remember having 4 filler arcs and all are pretty short in like 10 eps and i think one piece has like 500+ cannon episodes..
