Naruto's Current Base Speed

According to the databooks, Naruto's speed is around a 3.5. But during Five Kage Summit, he demonstrated that he's a lot faster in his base form than we realized when he appeared out of nowhere to save Sakura.

A guy with a 3.5 in speed would not be that fast.

So as of now, what's Naruto current speed stat in his base form? Is it a 4, a 4.5, or a 5?

Maybe your guys are right. 4.5 does look a little to fast for Naruto in base mode. Yeah I go with 4.0 regardless that I voted for 4.5.

Tsunade has 3, 5 too. After Pain destroyed Konoha, she was able to outran the anbus. And she had almost 0 chakra.

Besides in his modes, naruto hasn't shown any significant boost in speed because he relies on mostly his shadow clones to do the job. He doesn't exactly train in speed you know.

You're saying that as if anyone with Kurama or tailed beast makes them fast. Not every Jinchuriki are known for their speed feat as far I am concern. That kind of logic is saying that Kushina and Mito can be fast with Kurama. Certain characters are noted to be speedster, regardless of circumstances.

When Gaara partially transformed Into his Biju, Sasuke said he gotten faster. Bee gotten faster in his 3 tails mode. Ofcourse if you go Chakra mode like Naruto you become faster. Common sense really.

Depends if you understand the databook correctly. Kishi isn't using the stats so that they can be compared to others. Naruto being 3.5 just means he hasn't reached his max in that discipline. In other words, if he improved his speed, he would rise of course, but it depends how much he improved it. Judging from his speed, when he beat Kakuzu, Naruto wasn't that much faster here. So max an improvement of 0.5, however, I would believe that he is now 5.0. Even though databook doesn't account for jinchuriki abilities or special blood line limits like sharingan, Naruto would probably still be 5 in next databook, since he has reached a point, where he no longer needs to improve his base speed, so within his own limits (no SM or BM) Naruto is currently 5, since it's his max speed. Meaning that he didn't improve it much, since he doesn't need any more speed, it still goes to 5, meaning his max just got lowered from the other databooks.

We can agree that Jinchurikis can use Tailed Beast chakra to enhance their speed. For me, the difference is how each character controls and master that ability. I didn't consider Naruto to be one of top even with his forms because he hasn't really trained for it. But I consider him now one of the top when he controlled his speed since his encounter with A and saving Kakashi and Gai from Obito.

It just depends on how well each character used their speed.

I still think his base speed is 3.5. But wouldn't be too surprised to see it bumped to 4.
