and what would that claim achieve ? It doesn't show i'm fanboying my favourite character but rather acknowledging his limits.

I believe in all realistic hype. Hanzo's, Hiruzen's, the Third Kazekage's and etc. Hype is used by the writer to display what can't be done in an actual fight.

Eh, if the theories are correct, hopefully we'll see the deceased four hokages revived.

Considering the fact that Hiruzen despite his versatility was mostly a ninjutsu oriented shinobi, he would get owned by Kisame due to water shark bullet being used against his very own ninjutsu while powering up Kisame's own attack.

Anyhow, Prime Hiruzen is probably a tier higher than Kisame so he wins mid-high difficulty but by feats, old Hiruzen gets demolished low difficulty since old Hiruzen doesn't have the stamina to keep up with Kisame who will be constantly stealing his chakra. Kisame also has far more physical strength than Hiruzen. A giant water dome will drown Hiruzen and Enma while draining away their chakra.

Hiruzen wins but I will admit since Hiruzen doesn't have much chakra in his old age, he would have a less chance of beating Kisame, but I still believe he beats him.
