Itachi slaughtered his clan out of desperation and to save Sasuke's life, If he hadnt done it himself Sasuke would be dead..He knew about the coup an wanted to stop it! Obito and Danzou had much to gain from this..Danzou gains power and gets rid of a foe that would have stopped him, and obito gets the same with out the Uchiha there he can pose as Madara and continue his plan..Danzou has always been an a$$hole trying to manupulate everyone just for power Obviously Obito had other plans!!

1. Because Obito told him he was Madara.
2. Proof? Danzo was there when Yahiko died. Also, Yahiko was in Obito's way and wouldn't let him get anywhere near Nagato, so obviously Obito wanted to kill him.
3. Because Obito failed, and I mentioned that in my thread. Danzo instead made moves for the Uchiha's banishment from the Village to its outskirts, which was sure to spark an outburst by the Uchiha clan when they had nothing to do with the Kyuubi.
4. Are you stupid? You think Danzo should have helped kill Minato and Hiruzen in front of all the villagers? Yeah that'll help his chances to gain their trust won't it? lol

if danzo nd obito really help each other then why would danzo try to kill obito later calling him madara. if danzo had betrayed him nd if he was really loyal to konoha he could have spoken out the truth to sasuke then. by u still have made up.a good theory. also I don't think hiruzen wanted to make itachi a kage. he should have known whats right nd acted accordingly nd nt listen to danzo. also he was the one who instructed itachi to leave nd promised to look after sasuke.

You're putting too much blame on danzo for killing yahiko, when it is clearly Madara to blame, just as much Madara is to blame for Rins death. Try really understand all these things are because of Madara being alive and Danzo knowing about it

Danzo could had easily killed Sasuke from the start, if he wasnt holding back for Madara.
Danzo could had even used shisuis eye on Sasuke, but he chose not to. Sasuke got in his way, and he failed cuz karma a bitch

Itachi knows Danzo is right about Uchiha annihilation, For he chose to do it himself. Stop pretending Danzo "used Itachis love" because thats what Itachi based it off of.

My theory on this is that wiping out the uchiha clan was all part of the plan (obito/madara) because its been stated that the only people who are immuned (?) to a sharingan genjustsu are those with the same eyes. MEANING that even though obito/madara were successful with the moon eye plan the Uchiha would be able to resist its control and rebel. To avoid this complication obito manipulated the situation and mind f***ed danzo into killing the remaining uchiha clan memebers..... im assuming danzo sought this as an oppurtunity to collect sharingan eyes and had NO idea he was just a pawn in a larger plan. its the most logical explanation if you look at the bigger picture....

You said Shisui wasn't in Root, then you admitted I was right. I also proved to you, that the war in question was the civil war between Konoha and Uchiha. And although this is a theory, it is based on FACTUAL events that happened in the manga, I connected them and it makes sense to most of the people who've been on this thread.

obito and danzo were not working together we saw in obitos flashback that he found out about the birth of naruto all by mistake because of kakashi he just happened to know that the seal would be weakened because im sure madara told him thats it there was no conspiracy danzou had nothing to do with it that night

danzo was scum...he had plans to seize power, manipulated people intentionally to benefit himself MOSTLY, he talks about self sacrfice BUT always is prepared to throw his pawns in to do his dirty work, he ACTS as if he had the right to speak of such things like i.e"what it means to be a shinobi" but was never actually the shinobi he ideally thinks makes the world go 'round...so even then he reveals himself to be a hypocrite even more!
in the end...he was scum and we should all be glad he went out the way he did! by an uchiha surviver!

everything danzo did was for what he thought were in the best interests of the village, he seemed to believe the ends justified the means. also someone like him was needed to the dirty work, i'm sure hiruzen knew some of things danzo did but even he knew they had to be done
I don't really see 14 year old Obito collaborating with people like Danzo. Come one, young Yahiko called him up on his bullshiit, you expect teenage stupid Obito coming up with such great plans? That's basically the reason his Kyuubi attack failed, he was acting not in a smart way at all, reread the flashback. I don't think Obito had any ties with Danzo until Uchiha Massacre, when he was grown up and able to manipulate and fool genius people like Itachi. Before that even Yahiko called him an idiot.
