In the last chapter, Kurama mentions that Naruto is using the same technique of chakra dispersion that Minato used when he gave baby Naruto, Kushina's chakra and his own.
And we all know that through that chakra, both Minato and Kushina appeared in their Son's consciousness during crucial moments of his life and helped him with his most important tasks.
Not only that, we also know, that they were able to see events in the real world through their Son's eyes! That's how Minato knew about Jiraiya-sensei and Konoha's destruction. I believe his exact words were, "I saw from within you".
Now that Naruto has practically used the same method, and his chakra resides in the entire Shinobi army.
I believe Naruto can see through them and appear within all of their minds and talk to them!
How this will be useful? I don't know just yet, but it has been foreshadowed by Kishi, remember that.
Not sure how much a difference it makes that Minato sealed his and Kushina's chakra in Naruto as opposed to the Shinobi Alliance being linked to Naruto.

I guess the difference is that the chakra Minato sealed inside Naruto were sealed for a purpose whereas naruto is basically handing them out, and he was able to see through Naruto because of the sealed chakra. In the Allied Shinobi case, i don't think it will have the same effect as the shinobi forces will likely use up the chakra.
Minato and Kushina did it the same way, and they died. Even in death, they were able to talk to their son. I don't see how you can come to that conclusion.

Yes, their chakra was sealed in some part of Naruto, so that Naruto wouldn't be able to have access to it or use it accidentally or even subconsciously. And I don't think it would be mentioned in the way that it has in the manga if it didn't hold any significance.
I think the Kyuubi explained everything in chapter 617.
1. First Naruto has understood how Kyuubi chakra operate and he can funnel it into others
2. Naruto mastered the same sealing Jutsu Minato used to seal his chakra into other shinobis my understanding here is if Naruto is using the same Minato used, then the effect must be the same as well.
3. Naruto can match the chakra he gives each shinobi to his unique trait.
At this point, thing becomes very complex, and many questions arise among which the most intriguing are:
i. what does unique trait means - chackra affinity or genetics of their body?
ii. How does Naruto detect the unique trait of each shinobi? Sensing or visualization?
You can see that a lot of intriguing facts happen in this explanation, and I am pretty sure Kishi will elaborate.
4. Kyuubi also said the number of link Naruto can sustain is amazing.
This is clearly stated in the manga. Actually, in order to avoid translation confusion, Kishi draw the link as gears. This means that Naruto remains connected to the Shinobis. This is how I understand the phrase "sustain the links". Here, it remind me of how Nagato link his chakra with his paths to make them perform his Jutsus. Thus, I think Naruto is continuously transmitting chakra here or at least maintaining a chakra link. In the drawing, Kishi even show paths connecting inner Naruto to many external Naruto that are connected to each shinobi. This means Naruto's consciousness is also inside these shinobi through his chakra. This is very consistent with Minato and Kushina's case.

There are two black rectangular regions separated by a white separation layer. The right area represents Naruto inner space, the left area represent the shinobi alliance's inner space ( I mean the body of each person to whom Naruto gave chakra).
Now, you can see gears in each space connecting Naruto from within his own space to the space of others. The link are represents by bright rays that represent the chakra path or communication path. The connections are represented by the gears.
====== My comments on the consequences of this chapter =====
While it is almost unbelievable, I think the facts are undeniable. Thus, I have accepted them and I am trying to find their implication.
A. If actually, the minato we saw within Naruto was the one in the reaper death seal making a communication with Naruto from that hell, then (1) the seal Minato used is a key to Reaper death world. some people have speculated about this before and it is making sense, (2) it can explain why Orochimaru's arm where destroyed in Anko while Minato was whole in Naruto. I mean Oro in Anko has Oro's seal, but Minato chakra in Naruto does not contain Minato's sould. It is only a projection of Minato from the hell of Reaper seal. This is very complex, but I am also trying to make you guys speak. My original question is this:
- Oro's arms were sealed by Hiruzen, and the oro that was in Anko before the seal got affected. Someone told me it is because Oro has a single soul.
- Minato was sealed completely by reaper seal. But Minato appear in Naruto whole.
Why the difference? This thread seems to answer my question with the projection factor.
B. If Naruto can maintain so many links, then the next step is Naruto doing six path techniques, or maybe thousand paths techniques. He only need now to control his target once he is connected with them and make them use his Rasenchuriken, or whatever. This make sense because of how Nagato control his six path by using Madara's black rod. Since Naruto is normally stronger than most people, if he connect his chakra without matching with there, he will be able to control them like puppets. But I believe that Naruto's six path techniques will be reasonable. After all he is Rikudo's....
C. I am risking my head to say that Naruto's is becoming someone who knows more than normal. In order to detect and match the unique trait of many people on a battlefield, there have to be somthing closer to Rinnegan or Sharingan able to distinguish each person chakra nature.
