Hahahaha I think Naruto's answer here would be out of character, or unrealistic for anyone if they were in his situation. It's inappropriate for the situation so I'd think she was psycho. Also he hasn't declared to anyone how he feels about Sakura so why would he give her an answer so freely?

I would be pissed since it would make my favorite character something she's not. I would most likely stop reading since it would make the character feel silly and unrealistic and it would affect my view of the series itself.

Haha yeah it would affect my view of the series too, suddenly everybody acting out of character. A more in-character response from Naruto would be something like, "What the hell question is that at a time like this Hinata get the hell out of here you're going to die!"

Hinata's words would also would be the worst case ever of asking a dishonest question and that's why it would change my personal view of the character too. She has always seemed very straightforward and honest with her words, so I would think something really horrible must have happened to her, even though nothing justifies acting like a crybaby. Those characters have no appeal so the feeling I would have had is disappointment.

... but an evil Hinata does sound pretty badass. I would've wished that she wasn't a feel-sorry-for-myself badguy like in the OP though.
