What if a stranger offers duct tape to my child?
Are there any programs that offer advice / special protection from duct tape?
If my child is ever accidentally exposed to duct tape, what should I do?

That's nothing. When I was in high school a special education teacher duct taped a special needs kid to a chair.

But the teacher was joking with her students who put the duck tape on themselves and asked for the picture to be taken

I don't think it's that big a deal. In fact it's kind of funny. The only concern is that she doesn't have a right to post the children's pictures without parental consent. She shouldn't have been suspended, and she shouldn't get fired. At most, she should've received a reprimand.
