Now that I think about it, kakashi has pretty much went up against all of the akatsuki members, more members than anyone else has. Kakashi really seems to be on his game lol. Who hasn't he gone up against though? I don't think he's gone up against sassori of the red sand

Kakashi had Deva Path beat. Had stunned Asura path, Deva had no clue where he was. Kakashi would have been able to go in for the kill. Chouza and Chouji showing up ruined his plan, but he thought it was going to save his chakra. Turns up it just wound up getting him killed.

Lets talk cannon not hypotetical scenerio. Cannon shows deva owned kakashi and chouji and chouza didn't ruin his plan (the plan he made w/o full knowledge on deva) they even help'd him

There's no legitimate reason to believe that Kakashi doesn't win/end the fight if Chouza and Co don't show up. He had the complete upper hand. He had the element of surprise. He had his strategy planned out. Asura was stunned. The raikiri was ready to go. He would have been capable of ending the fight.
