I don't know what to put here
Felt like doing something as I'm currently bored out of my mind, and in the mood for making a thread. Anyways, like you've probably observed from the title, this thread will be revolve around me talking about a few jutsu that seem to be overlooked by may, yet they're surprisingly OP. It may be a bit weird, but I think it'll be fun xd

Please refer from flaming, as this is only an opinion, nothing more, nothing less, and mainly done for fun.

Note, the list is in no particular order, it's just randomly put up.

Asura Path

When people debate about Nagato/the 6 paths of Pain, the most common arguments are "Chibaku Tensei, Shinra Tensei, Preta Path, Dog Summon, etc". These jutsu are obviously immensely powerful, but due to these, people tend to underrate how powerful this path can be. Amongst the things in his arsenal is , , for restricting an enemy, along with various additional . The mix of offensive and defensive techniques this path grants the user is certainly powerful, and should definitely not be underrated.

Byakugo - The Strength of a Hundred Technique

(Yes, I know this is creation rebirth, but give me a break, Byakugo hasn't appeared in the anime yet xd )

A technique that I feel is often overlooked and underrated, the Byakugo, the Strength of a Hundred Technique. A technique only accessible by Tsunade the Sannin, instead of creating new cells to heal injuries, this jutsu the already present cells, healing up any injury. This technique is so powerful that it can reconstruct organs even when damaged fatally, as shown when Tsunade managed to survive getting by Uchiha Madara's Susanoo sword. The fact that this technique creates new cells automatically means that as long as Tsunade has any chakra left, she is unable to die in battle, and considering Tsunade's immense chakra reserves, this jutsu is truly fearsome.

This technique often tends to be forgotten rather than underrated in most instances, but however, this technique is the reason I believe Deidara is underrated on this site, as this is a truly fearsome jutsu used by Deidara, who considered it to be one of his most powerful jutsu. Deidara clay from his mouth, which in an instant, turns into a gigantic version of , which at his command. Then it releases a flurry of in the air. The best thing about this jutsu is the fact that without a Doujutsu, it's invisible to the naked eye, meaning that the enemy will assume that the jutsu has failed, and will breath the bombs in unknowing of the consequences. However, after the bombs have gotten into the enemies blood, they will explode at Deidara's command, destroying the victim on a . This jutsu can also be used up-close, as seen when Deidara Sasuke into it, leaving the victim no choice but to breathe in the bombs. So far, the only way to counter this jutsu has been to use a Raiton technique on yourself, disabling the bombs. However, even if the victim has the Raiton element, the fact that he will most likely not be aware of this jutsu makes it so that the victim won't even know what's going on, when he suddenly starts falling apart.

Similar to the Asura Path, this jutsu grants it's user various abilities. Kakuzu's battle style mainly revolved around using these threads, and through them, he could increase the range of his attacks by , , and his opponents, and last but definitely not least, of other shinobi, and implant them in himself, granting him the elements of the previos owner along with pseudo-immortality, as destroying all five hearts was crucial in order to beat him. Along with this all, Kakuzu could go into , making it exceptionally hard to hit him. And remember, Kakuzu was powerful even before gaining this technique, a testament of his true awesomeness

Bringer of Darkness Technique

A Genjutsu used by the first Hokage. Hashirama makes a hand seal, and in one blink, the enemy is completely surrounded by , while the user and his teammates' vision is unharmed. Countering this technique is very hard, as seen when Hiruzen was having immense trouble while trying to end the jutsu, finally managing to do it by out Hashirama (seriously, the guy is amazing) However, since most ninja are not capable of such a feat, this technique is immensely useful in battle, especially when you consider that Hashirama, Orochimaru and Tobirama could simply have attacked Hiruzen with a fatal attack instead of deciding to play around.

So, that's it, hope you enjoyed reading, it was fun to make :D It's pretty weird how useful techniques that are often forgotten or ignored can be when you think a bit better about it. I plan on possibly making more of these in the future, so if you have any ideas on more jutsu that people tend to forget, go ahead and comment if you wish :y

Yeah, finally someone didn't forget about Tsunade xd
Agreed, people tend to underrate her xd
Good job.
Thanks :D

Huh, no Tsukuyomi or Mangekyō Sharingan-related techniques? Surprising.
I tried to mainly out techniques that people tend to not remember/underrate, which is clearly not the case with the Mangekyo techniques. However, I considered putting Tsukuyomi, as most people tend to only focus on Kamui and Amaterasu, while underrating the usefulness of the Tsukuyomi.

Well, as I said, I'll likely do a thread similar to this in the future, where it may be included.

Isn't articuno a Pokemon ?
You bet your sweet ass he is
I agree but the tsunade one is overrated AF
There are always people who overrate certain things, however, the fact is that a lot of people tend to underrate Tsunade while forgetting the she has this in her arsenal, which essentially makes her immortal while she still has chakra left (except of you cut her in two and put a giant tree beneath the two parts maybe)
Cool thread
Nice to see a change from minato threads xD
Thanks :D
*Throws a pokéball at you*

Nice, I agree those techniques you mentioned are some of the best under-rated ones there is.
You fool! You don't have enough badges to train me!

Anyways, thanks :D
