Yeah they're more like Indonesians with their darker skin. I like how Kishi incorporated all asians and not just Japanese like some other mangas out there.

whether you say tanned or black it's obvious that they're Kishi's spiritual successors to black guys in the Manga, rapping and cornrows? can it get any blacker than that? and they spawned the 3rd raikage, who is pretty much the lightning version of hashirama. And they also love kenjutsu, something I'm very fond of in the narutoverse, cloud village is my fave village behind konoha.

well anything dealing with the main characters is saturated in plot no jutsu, but honestly of all villages they're the coolest hands down, raikage would make me roflmao every time I saw him bust through his hokage office building, and Bee is just so cool and carefree, and darui and Omoi come from there. and it's more stereotypical than racist, but I forgive kishi, because I seriously doubt he has conversations with black guys, but it's cool.
